To receive a firm quotation on
a custom banner, complete specifications are required. A black-and-white drawing
will suffice and may be faxed to 800-555-9269 or emailed
(preferred) to customwork@glendale.com.
Please provide
at least 300 dpi resolution or EPS format for images and/or
artwork. The most effective design
is the simplest. All elements should be easily recognizable from
a distance. Remember that the viewer may have only a fleeting
instant to see the visual image you wish to convey. Choose well-balanced colors with good contrast.

Design
Camera-ready art work in the form of a digital graphic file
is required, along with a color printout. We will make
every effort to use designs and materials submitted.
However, if artwork is unsuitable for available methods and
systems, it will be returned for resubmission.
Appliqué: Each letter and design element is a separate piece of
colored material sewn onto the background. Suitable for indoor
and outdoor flags & banners. Die cut letters are available
in the following sizes: 11/2", 2",3",4", 6", 8", 10".
Embroidery:
Machine-embroidered letters and designs. For
indoor display and parade use.
Screen Printing: Hand-printing techniques, using a true
dyeing process, applied by silk screens, one color at a time.
The dyes penetrate the fibers, making the finish soft and supple
like the base fabric. Suitable for quantity production for
indoor and outdoor use.
Digital acid-dye process: A printing process with the
look and soft feel of a dyed flag but with lower minimum runs
and greater capacity for detail. This is an acid-dye, four-color
process that does not require screens. We cannot guarantee exact
match to color chart. A colored "strike off" (small printed
sample) can be supplied at additional cost.
Construction Single: Correct on one side; reverse on the other. Single with double emblem: Reads correctly on both sides. Double: Reads correctly on both sides.
Finishing Specs Canvas heading and grommets: to fly from an outside flag pole. Pole heading and Velcro tabs: to fit over a pole for indoor and
parade use. Fringe: now available in white, golden yellow,
black, purple, royal, red, and silver
For lead banner: scalloped or straight bottom
